Marcus is committed to serving first responders with technology solutions that enhance preparedness and decision making. As a member of the George W. Bush Administration serving in the White House during the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001, Marcus helped coordinate the Federal Government’s response in the subsequent days and months, assisting in the development of the Department of Homeland Security as well as the federal government’s planning and funding for homeland security and emergency management. Marcus later led the Inter-agency task force charged with ensuring the safety and security of the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Games, the first international event hosted in American after 9/11.
As the CEO of Knowledge Center, Marcus’ focus is to continue the development of innovative and reliable incident management software while delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
Marcus earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
